Two broadcasts, one live block
PlayStation will air State of Play and State of Play Japan back-to-back on Thursday, 3 September 2026. The live block begins at 06:00 Pacific Time, 09:00 Eastern Time, 15:00 Central European Summer Time and 22:00 Japan Standard Time. That is 13:00 UTC and 16:00 in Riyadh.
State of Play
The first broadcast will feature updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. PlayStation says it will conclude with an extended look at the world of Final Fantasy VII Revelation. No additional lineup or runtime has been announced.
State of Play Japan
State of Play Japan follows immediately afterward and is hosted by Yuki Kaji. PlayStation describes it as a set of deeper dives into upcoming games from studios in Japan and Asia, including gameplay and announcements. The first show will be in English with Japanese subtitles; State of Play Japan will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
